ABOUT ME
I am a qualified integrative counsellor based in East London, and I have worked with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, loss and trauma.
I specialise in trauma and loss, and I have a number of years’ experience working with individuals who have experienced historic child sexual abuse, domestic abuse and sexual violence.
I also have a special interest in anxiety and depression and have many years of experience working with clients who have experienced this.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their ethics and standards.
My qualifications include:

Higher National Certificate in Counselling from the University of East London

BACP accredited Diploma in Counselling completed at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London

Foundation degree in Counselling from the Middlesex University

BA (Hons) degree in Counselling from the Middlesex University

Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling recognised by the National Counselling Society (NCS)
As well as private practice, I currently work as a lecturer in counselling for a further education college. I have previously worked for the East London Rape Crisis Counselling Service as a counsellor, Women's Aid as a case worker, Solace Women’s Aid as a group co-facilitator, and for Haven Network– for Survivors of Abuse as a placement counsellor.
My background also includes working within the social housing sector for many years which included working in a managerial role.
